Goal #1: The board is dedicated to focus on long-range facilities planning directly related to class size and student learning outcomes.
- Evidence:
- The board will hold a minimum of quarterly work sessions to review assessments from the facilities committee and/or the administration and analyze the monthly enrollment reports, current class size reports and study their impact on student performance
- Develop a plan to align building improvement goals with educational priorities such as class size and electives to promote student interest to be completed by June of 2026
- Identify what the buildings that are of high priority and what their specific needs are for building modifications or expansion to be completed by June of 2026
- Explore funding possibilities such as loan, out of pocket financing, bond, etc.

Goal #2: The board is committed to help implement (via the superintendent and administration) a comprehensive strategy to improve student academic performance by setting clear benchmarks for student growth and staff effectiveness.
- Evidence:
- The board will review reports on a quarterly basis:
- Report on training development for the staff with follow up on what curriculum and teaching methods are working and not working
- Report on what student testing is taking place and what the expected target for improvement is in reading, math, and other focus areas by grade
- Results of student testing for reading, math, and other focus areas by grade to analyze student achievement and growth data.
- Monitor teacher results of student performance anonymously, tracking data by years of teaching experience.
- The board will review plans on a semi-annual basis:
- Review staff satisfaction surveys for effectiveness of the training, curriculum, classroom needs, administration support, etc.
- The board will review on an annual basis:
- Student satisfaction surveys on classroom experience, learning methods, elective interests, etc.
- Plan developed by the administration to increase staff retention rate by X% over the next 2 years (the % needs to be determined and possibly the board can help set this?)
