Klamath County School District has opened registration for summer school programs. Programs will include an academic focus on literacy, math, science and social studies, along with field trips and other activities. Bus transportation will be available
A program for elementary students is planned at the Henley Complex for all Klamath Falls area, Merrill and Malin students. Bonanza and Chiloquin schools have programs available for K-12 students.
The Henley Complex summer school program will serve K-6 students and will run June 22 through July 17, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday. There will be no classes on Friday, July 3.

Migrant summer school will take place simultaneously at the Henley Complex. Registration for that program is separate and participating families have already been notified.
Chiloquin schools will host a K-12 summer school program June 15 through July 2, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Families interested in enrolling students are asked to contact the school office for sign-up information.
Bonanza schools will offer a K-12 summer school program June 15 through July 2, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday. The Bonanza program will feature literacy-based academics using the Scholastic Lit Camp curriculum, along with field trips and enrichment activities. There is no school June 19 due to the holiday.
Gilchrist will not offer a summer school program this year due to bathroom remodeling projects.
