The School Social Worker Spotlight

My name is Angee Wright, I am the Shasta School Social Worker. I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. I have been working in the schools for the last 10 years, I love working with students, families and the community. My job here at Shasta is to support your student in any way that can help them to be successful at school. I meet with students individually or in small group settings to teach or enhance social emotional skills. I am also avaibale to support your family in connecting with community resources. One of my goals this year is to work on our Shasha website to add resources and information to our families tab. I have posted some Bullying prevention information this month. • No school Friday 10/08 (Grade prep)
• Conferences Wednesday 10/13 and Thursday 10/14 (Check with you teacher for times) 
• No school Thursday 10/14
• No school Friday 10/15
• 10/29 students may wear their Halloween Costumes to school
