Pre-Employment Drug Testing
As a required part of the Klamath County School District's preliminary employment process the district requires drug tests for safety-sensitive positions (e.g., Teachers, Bus Drivers, Cafeteria staff, Paraprofessionals, Maintenance staff, etc.) and positions in which the person is responsible for students’ safety and security. Satisfactory completion of such tests is a prerequisite of employment. Drug testing shall include any narcotic drug, hallucinogenic drug, amphetamine, barbiturate, or any other controlled substance or alcohol.
