Many schools. Many communities. Countless stories. Woven together as OneKCSD.
Klamath County School District is not just one school, one community, or one experience. It is 22 schools. Distinctive communities. Different traditions. Yet, thousands of everyday moments connect us: a teacher helping a student learn, a bus driver starting a child’s school day, a family showing up, a student discovering a new path. Each moment is a thread. On its own, it tells one story about one student, one school, or one community. But woven together, those threads create the tapestry that is KCSD, connecting us by a shared purpose: student success. Through #OneKCSD, we’ll share those moments and the stories that make KCSD extraordinary.

OneKCSD | One Team | Parents to be students Nov. 5, 2026 / Small whiteboards. Plastic alphabet letters. Hands moving as words come together. And three Henley kindergarteners sitting on the rug, ready to show a classroom of parents what they know.
Henley Elementary School kindergarten teacher Dusti Krueger brought families into the classroom in late October for hands-on parent nights, turning a reading lesson into an opportunity for teachers, students and families to learn together.
During the parent sessions, families sat at student desks and experienced the reading lessons much as their children do in class. They sounded out letters, put them together and spelled short, three-letter words using the same kinds of materials their children use at school. Read more.
