The district will host several book fairs in May
May 8, 2025 / Klamath County School District elementary families are invited to district-sponsored book fairs this month to pick up a book bag and choose books for their student’s personal home libraries.
The Scholastic books are free to students, and each student will receive several new books.
“Our hope is that our students can escape on imaginary journeys as they read their new books over the summer,” said Dr. Doris Ellison, KCSD elementary curriculum director. Ellison, with the help of volunteers, is organizing the book fair events.
Below are dates, times, and locations of the book fairs (listed by schools). Please note, families from Ferguson, Great Basin Homeschool, Henley, Keno, Peterson, Shasta, and Stearns will attend book fairs at the new Crater Lake Learning Center, 2720 Washburn Way (the site of the former Asian Buffet)
