May 20, 2025 / Eight Henley High School athletes have signed to play at the collegiate level next year. The athletes, coaches, and their families gathered at Henley May 20 for a Signing Day celebration.
Sports represented include cross country and track, bowling, baseball, soccer, softball, and rodeo.
Henley High School Athletic Director Luke Hammond believes it’s important to recognize the commitment the seniors made to their teammates, coaches, and families over their high school careers. “We celebrate these student-athletes dedication and hard work as they will continue to represent the Henley community as they pursue their athletic endeavors,” he said.
Following are the student athletes and their future plans:
• Randi Benson, cross country and track, Southwestern Community College. Plans to study kinesiology.
• Connor Brennan, bowling, Baker University (Baldwin, Kan.). Plans to study mechanical engineering.
• Mark Carpenter, baseball, Linn Benton Community College. Plans to study business.
• Jesus Flores (Falcon Heights graduate), soccer, Klamath Community College. Plans to study diesel mechanics.
• Natalie Hudson, softball, Umpqua Community College. Plans to study science and nursing.
• Bayli Ladner, rodeo, Kansas State University. Plans to study animal science.
• Brian Leon-Cobian, soccer, Klamath Community College. Plans to study criminal justice.
