This year, school supplies will be provided to all elementary students in the Klamath County School District.
Supplies will be purchased by the district and distributed to students by their teachers at the beginning of the school year. Schools will let families know if there are any additional personal items students might need.
The district is investing about $132,000 to purchase supplies for 3,800 students at its 12 elementary schools.
“It has been a tough year for many of our families, and we are happy to provide this assistance,” said KCSD Superintendent Glen Szymoniak.
