Provide information about our school's Title I program for parents and students participating in the program. 

TITLE I PROGRAM

What is "Title I"?

• Funds to provide programs to help children who are struggling in reading and math. 

• Extra help (in addition to what they learn during Math and Reading time in the classroom)

• Federal funding

Design of our Programs:

• Schoolwide- 

•We are a school-wide Title I school which means 100% of our students qualify for Title I services.

•What does our program look like? 

•Students are screened three times per year and then staff meet to decide on intervention groups/programs for individual students. Staff deliver high-quality, research-based interventions and monitor student progress every week. Data team meetings are held every six weeks to review the progress of students and make changes to groups as needed.

• $87,129 of those funds pay staffing paraprofessionals. 

• Title I Parent Involvement Funds

 • Amount of funds available for this year: $4,013

 • Last years’ parent involvement funds were spent on OMSI Science Night and dinner for attendees.

Continuous Improvement Plan Our Goals:

• Assessment Results 

• • You will be notified of your child’s assessment results. 

• • Timeline: 

• • OSAS: The test is administered from March-May 

• • results are shared at the Fall Parent Conference the following year

• iReady Reading and Math administered in Fall, Winter, and Spring
