School Continuous Improvement Plan

Goal 1: By the spring of 2025 using I-Ready Assessment, 80 percent of students will show growth toward moving to tier 1 proficiency. Tier 1 students will maintain proficiency status.

Goal 2: By the spring of 2025 using I-Ready Assessment, 80 percent of our students will show growth toward moving to tier 1 proficiency. Tier 1 students will maintain proficiency status.

Goal 3: Implement adopted SEL state standards, by all students K-6 engaging in 1 SEL lesson per week.

Implement researched based vocabulary practices

Use researched based interventions for fluency, comprehension, and phonics

Continue separate math intervention time to target standards and skills

Continue teaching 1 lesson per week of the district approved SEL materials

Continue our partnership with Belong Partners

Title I Program

What is "Title I"?

Funds to provide programs to help childern who are struggling in reading and math.
Extra help (in addition to what they learn during Math and Reading time in the classroom)
Funding provided under Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA)

Types of Programs:

School-wide = all students
Targeted = students identified for the program based on performance on assessments

Curriculum

6th grade MidSchool math

SBAC Proficiency Levels

Your Child will be taking the Smarter Balanced Assessment SBAC in grades 3-6.

Four Proficienct Levels for the SBAC
- Exceeds
- Meets
- Nearly Meets
- Did not Meet

Our goal is for your student to reach the "Meets" level on the SBAC. Our overall goal is that every student makes adequate growth.

Assessment Results

You will be notified of your child's assessment results.

Timeline:

SBAC: Test is administered from March- May
SBAC: Parents/Guardians are notified of scores the following school year.
