Professional background: I have been teaching in the Klamath County School District since 2002. I have worked primarily with elementary students, teaching k-6. But the last few years I have worked as a k-12 English Language Development teacher. I have also facilitated high school credit recovery during summer school. Recently, I have also added coaching as an assistant for high school golf.
Goal as a homeschool teacher: My goal is to build relationships with families so that I can be a resource to help each family meet meaningful and personalized educational goals. I hope that in working with families we can make learning enjoyable and relevant along with instilling a love for learning in students. I want to offer engaging hands-on activities, meet-ups and field trips that will help students be ready to navigate their future and the world.
Personal hobbies: I love to spend time with my family and friends. I enjoy watching my kids participate in sports. In my free time, I love to watch collegiate and professional sports, listen to music or audiobooks, and workout.
Something most people don’t know about you: I love all things flowers. March Madness is the best. I love being outside (when its warm).
