The Klamath County Cattlewomen and Gail Patton family are proud to announce a new, unique scholarship. This scholarship is in memory of one of our members who was a ranch wife as well as an accomplished musician.
ELIGIBILITY
1. Applicants (either men or women) must be a resident of the Klamath Basin and a student of a
local high school or homeschool program. This includes all of Klamath County, Tulelake, and
Butte Valley areas of Siskiyou and Modoc Counties.
2. Applicants are a high school senior, current college student, or current trade school
student.
3. Applicants must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
4. Eligible students will be those who are majoring in, or working toward a career that will
benefit Agriculture. This may include, but is not limited to: Large Animal Veterinary Medicine,
Nutrition, Fabrication, Agri-business, Ag Communication, Ranch Management, Agronomy,
Diesel Mechanics, Agri- Law, Ag Education, Culinary School, etc.
5. Students will also show recent, consistent interest in music, whether at a casual or more
structured level. Examples include two or more years of music lessons, participation in a band,
orchestra, musical theater, or choir, or performing on a regular basis.
