Kindergarten Round-Up
Kindergarten Round-Up will be done in a drive through style this year. On Tuesday May 11th from 9:00 AM-10:00 AM. If you have a student that is eligible to start kindergarten in the 2021-2022 school year, please come to the school between 9:00 and 10:00 to fill out registration packets. We will have staff available to answer any questions you may have as well.
We ask that you bring with you a copy of the student's birth certificate and immunization records. We will make copies of these documents and return the originals to you.
If you have any questions, please call the school at 541-883-5055.
Registration Updates for Next Year
As we start to look toward next school year, we want to make sure we have all of the information up to date for your student. We have sent home a pre-filled registration form with all of our K-5th grade students. These forms will be pre-filled with all of the information we currently have on file for you. If there are any changes, please make them on the form, and send it back with your student signed.
If there are no changes that need to be made, please sign the bottom of the form and return it to with your student.
Thank you for your help making sure we have current information for all of our students!
Yearbooks
We will have yearbooks for every student, free of charge. Each student will receive their yearbook closer to the last day of school.
Parent Pick Up and Drop Off
Drop off is at the same time 8:00 AM-8:10 AM.
Pickup is still at the same time, 3:00 PM-3:10 PM in front of the school.
We are allowing a ten minute window for drop off and pick up to allow traffic to flow smoothly on Keno-Worden as well as in the driveway. If everyone comes at one time, it will create traffic issues both in the school parking lot as well as on Keno-Worden Rd.
Please make your best efforts to drop off and pickup during the ten minute windows as the busses will arrive after that and create more traffic issues if there are still personal vehicles in the loading zone.
We know that some parents want to beat the traffic and park across Keno-Worden Rd. This is okay as long as your student(s) use the crosswalk to cross the street and a parent crosses the street, in the crosswalk, to get and walk with the child(ren).
We understand that this could be an inconvenience for some of our families, but it is in the interest of safety of our students.
Masks
We still require all students, staff, and visitors to wear a face covering while inside. We ask that you send your student with a facemask that fits snugly to their face.
We have found that students do not like to use the masks we have at school so we ask that you send your students with a face covering that fits properly.
Can My Child Go To School?
We know that this year presents a whole new layer to this question. We have attached a flow chart (below) to hopefully make your decision easier. Please pay special attention to the symptoms in the number 3 red box: fever, (100.4+) undiagnosed rash or sores, new loss of taste/smell, diarrhea, vomiting, or an unexplained change in behavior.
We also ask that you keep your child home if they have been exposed to COVID-19 or have come into contact with someone that is COVID positive.
If you are in doubt, call the school and one of us will gladly answer your questions you have.
We thank you for your continued support in keeping our students and staff healthy and in school.
