JR High Physical Education The purpose of high school physical education program is to aid the development of the student to his/her fullest potentials in physical growth, neuro-muscular development, emotional control and social awareness. The physical education program attempts to help students understand the value of maintaining physical fitness through planned activities. The student will develop an understanding of lifetime recreational activities as well as the importance of fitness to combat the ill effects of the sedentary, inactive lifestyle, which accompanies spare time.
Physical Education Grade: 9th Credit: 1.0 Prerequisite: none

Advanced Physical Education/Weight Training Grade: 10th – 12th Credit: 1.0 Prerequisite: must pass Physical Education
This course is designed to provide activities for students learn carry-over values throughout his/her life. The student will participate on machine equipment as well as in areas of power lifting which includes, but not limited to cleans, incline, bench, push press, and squats. Student will be able to associate muscles worked with each activity. Students will also participate in ply metrics, agility drills and occasionally some aerobic, team sports.
