This online tool helps you locate scholarships, internships, grants, and loans that match your
education level, talents, and background. Complete the brief questionnaire and Scholarship
Search will find potential opportunities from our database of more than 2,200 sources of college
funding, totaling nearly $3 BILLION in available aid. Be patient, this site may take a while to
load.

The Oregon Student Access Commission (OSAC) is a state agency dedicated to creating a
college-going culture for all Oregonians. OSAC administers a variety of State of Oregon,
Federal, and privately funded student financial aid. Each year, OSAC awards grants and
scholarships of more than $118 million to thousands of Oregon students in their quest to achieve
a college education. One online application is all that is required to apply for scholarships that
you select from an inventory of over 400. ASPIRE is a component of OSAC.

You will find detailed and up-to-date information about who can apply, how to apply and contact
info for over 240 government loans and grants (scholarships, fellowships, traineeships) related to
education. There is a lot of advertising, and the site is complicated to navigate. Do not pay for
information that you can obtain for free at government sites.

FinAid was established in the fall of 1994 as a public service. This site has grown into a
comprehensive source of student financial aid information, advice and tools. Access to FinAid is
free for all users. The site does contain a lot of advertisements. The site map is a bodacious
index of access links to a huge number of financial topics. FinAid was created by Mark
Kantrowitz, a financial aid and college planning author. Mark is also Publisher of FastWeb, the
largest and most popular free scholarship matching service.


SchoolSoup--

SchoolSoup.com is an informational database to provide you with information about
scholarships and other financial aid solutions. SchoolSoup.com is not a scholarship or tuition
provider. They match you with relevant scholarships through the match program. This search is
intended to assist you in finding scholarships which are applicable to you or your interests. You
can see the list of scholarships at this site, but in order to get details or have them sorted for you,
you need to register. There is no fee for registering at the site. When you register, note the
option boxes to be “kept informed” and “contacted by an advisor”. If you want to remain
undisturbed, do not opt for these services. As part of the registration process, you will need to
complete a fairly long personal inventory by selecting responses to questions that will enable the
site to sort scholarships for you. Use of the site is free.
